Kashmir Schools Closed: Heatwave Forces Primary Level Suspension
Srinagar, July 28 (KNO): Due to the persistent heatwave gripping the Kashmir Valley, the divisional administration has ordered the suspension of classes for primary level students in both government and private schools on July 29 and 30.
A notification issued by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, V K Bidhuri, stated that while classes will be suspended for primary students, teaching and non-teaching staff must continue to report to their respective schools.
This decision comes as a relief to parents and students alike who have been facing the brunt of the scorching heat.
The authorities are closely monitoring the situation and further decisions regarding the continuation of the suspension will be made based on weather conditions.
